i have a 216 rover coupe 1998 clutch gone?

hi i have a rover 216 coupe 1998 and the clutch has gone (well slips in 1st and 2nd) if its a hydrolic can i fill it back up or would i just change the clutch the same way if it was a cable one thank you

A slipping clutch is never cause by lack of hydraulic fluid. Fluid loss causes the other way around - no clutch.
