hook on awning?
Help!! before I clear our local suppliers of hook retainers.
Our previous caravan awning had rubber pads on the ends of the poles but the awning was far too small for our Globestar. The awning for this one has the hook on type poles with a ball joint at the front end of the poles. Any tips on how to put this .....y awning up without breaking the plastic hook retainers on the van would be appreciated.
My prodecure is draw awning through channel then try errecting the frame underneath same way as the rupbber pad awning but have so far broken 7 hook retainers when the poles drop the hooks break. The trouble we found with the rubber pad/cup type is they slip down the van.
