Wireless internet connection with Medion MD 95766?

I have a Medion MD 95766 laptop I have been using a USB adapter to connect to the internet but this keeps getting knocked and broken, the laptop does not have a slot on the side for a card, so is there any other way I can connect wirelessly? I do have a wireless button on the keyboard which does not seem to do anything!

You numpty t

She does not state she is originally having problems with wireless connection and she does not state that a USB bluetooth is getting knocked and broken, it could be she was connecting to the internet via a USB modem that keeps getting knocked and broken. This laptop has a built in bluetooth so why should would she be using an external bluetooth USB dongle.

Could be the BIOS setting needs to be reconfigured, when you power on the laptop look for something that reads 'Setup F12' press the F number to enter the BIOS. Go through the BIOS setting until you see the wireless option and ensure it is enabled.

In Windows XP check the Control Panel > Network Connects and ensure the wireless network is enabled.

I think that you may have misread the question Mr/Ms PC Expert. The OP's question about her PC's connectively. She needs a new wireless adapter on her because she is unhappy using USB.

If USB is a problem then look carefully around the edge of the PC for a PC Card (PCMCIA) Slot. (I know that you say that you don't have one but they often have blanking plugs in them.)

The wireless button on your keyboard is to turn an internal wireless card on and off. To check if you have one installed, use Windows Device Manager to find out if the internal adapter is there in your PC. If it is you need to switch it on and then configure it (just like your current USB adapter) using Windows.

If the internal adapter is not present then get hold of Aldi to find out what to buy because Medion is one of the Own Brands.

You need a wireless router and then you need to setup the computer to connect to it. Using the Wireless configuration tool is the best option
