how to remove door handle off of nreg/95 vw polo not elictric windows

what year/model is his for? (2003, 4, etc)
I too have the same problem but for the back window, any chance for a solution?

1 unscrew door button
2split the door handle along the line this will allow you to unscrew 2 screws
3gently prise off 1/4 plastic at front of window
Then from the bottom pullthe panel slowly and finally lift up
you then need to remove lining speakers etc
