heated rear screen broken elements?

how can i repair the gaps between the element lines on the heated rear screen fitted to a 53 reg kia sorento without replacing the glass

You'll be very lucky indeed to get a successful cure here - at one time you could buy metallised paint that bridged the gap but it didn't work too well. You could of course 'accidentally' break the rear screen and call Autoglass.......
