hi there how can i get my remote to work for my vauxhall vectra?

my remote was working this morning but this afternoon my remote will not work but the lights on the remote still work but everytime i open the door it will not swich off with the remote but still starts how can i repair it.

Insert key in ignition and switch on
then press open/close door on remote few times
take key out

then try

put your key in the ignition turn to put on the ignition then press the key fob as if you were going to lock the doors then press to unlock them this should cure your problem
