i have had exactly the same problem and was told by 2 engineers that the fridge not economic to repair. however i was not satisfied with this and i removed he fridge and cleaned the jet which was blocked solid with hard black soot, you should be able to see through the jet from one side to the other, if you cant then that is your problem. just clean it out, you will be amazed what comes out. its much cheaper than a new fridge. IT WORKED FOR ME. GOOD LUCK

Hi Peter,

It works.

I just kept turning it over at about 2 to 3 hour intervals for a day, re-installed it at it works fine. I could hear air or liquid bubbling through the tubes evry time I turned it.

Cheers

John

Hi Peter,
I'm having exactly the same problem as you.
Since it works on mains electricity I can't see it being a problem with the refrigeration gas ( ammonia). I have been told ( and seen on other sites) that if you take out the fridge and turn it over and over, leaving a few hours in between, it will free any blockage or air in the system. I am trying that now, so fingers crossed.
