My Myson Midas combi boiler has a problem?

The heating side is working perferctly, however when I run the hot water for a bath or the shower it eventually makes a very load clattering noise and then the pilot light goes out. I think it overheats but I'm not sure. The pilot light can be relit. I've been advised that parts are hard to come by. If I could find a part does anyone know what might be causing this?
