how can i fix a yamaha aerox speedo??

i have jus bought a new speedo cable for my aerox.. i am wondering if this will fix my speedo, also i cant get the old speedo cable off the bike?? i cant get it out of my wheel..

try cleaning the pin, i had the same problem with mine and i clean it every month or so and it works fine now
