Hi, i discovered this morning that i have no hot water. On examination i can see that the water pressure guage is near zero and the user manual suggests i call an engineer. Is there a way i can re-fill the system myself without a van full of tools, a library of information and a week with nothing to do?

There will be a filling loop somewhere , on some valiants there is a little key on the underneath which is used to put the pressure back into the system .
