HOW CAN I FIX MY OVERHEATING FREEZER?

THE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON THIS MORNING BUT THERE HAS BEEN NO POWER SURGE OR BREAK IN SUPPLY AND THE DOOR HAS NOT BEEN LEFT OPEN. I HAVE MOVED THINGS AROUND IN THE COMPARTMENTS BUT NO OBVIOUS OVERCROWDING AND CAN'T SEE WHY I HAVE THE PROBLEM - THE FRIDGE SEEMS TO BE WORKING OK. I'M AT WORK SO DON'T HAVE ALL THE MODEL DETAILS BUT IT'S A HOTPOINT AUTO DEFROST FRIDGE FREEZER, ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD, NO PREVIOUS PROBLEMS.

THANKS

The same thing happened to me and I undid a drainage reservoir at the back of the freezer, emptied it and this seemed to resolve the problem.
