The central locking on my 1999 Ford Ka will not stay locked. When I lock t?

When I go to lock the car on either the driver's door or the passenger door, the locking mechanism on the central locking engages, and then disengages in one step leaving the car still unlocked.

Hi Roy, assuming you do not have remote locking, the fault will be in one of the door lock switch's it will be a proccess of elimination, if you want the wiring diagrams for the locking contact me on nige110162@hotmail.co.uk

Sounds like one of the door lock solenoids is sticking in the unlocked position and it is just like some opening the door from inside all the time, possible fix with WD40 and manual operation from inside car, may need to take door card off to aim spray as its inside the door
