How do you level the deck on Craftsman 18 hp 42" cut mower?It ismodel number 917.274400. I almost ashamed to use it on my front lawn!

The fast and quick way for one setting only; is to purchase a deck wheel and a bracket. Lower the deck to where you would like to cut the grass. Place you a carpenters level on the front side of the deck. Place the brace on the side / middle of the deck. Then attach the deck wheel the deck is level by using the carpenters level. The deck wheel should level the deck only at one position.
