how to change the wash/wipe fuse on ford ka?

my wash wipers have stopped working is this a fuse/
Helen, April 2008
The fuse box is to the right of the steering wheel covered by a plastic panel - lower down on the right of the wheel
Remove the panel - might take a bit of effort
Behind the fuse panel is the fuse board
On the removed plastic panel there is a small piece of yellow plastic which will remove the fuse for you - it fits over the fuse and should allow you to remove it easily
the wash/wipe fuse if the 4th (if you have manual windows) or 5th if you have electric windows from the top left row.
It is a 20A fuse - check that it is gone - you could replace it with the 20A beside it to check ie exchange them and try the wipers
Always replace 20A with 20A.
There is a picture of the fuses with what they do on the back of the plastic panel.
If you have manual windows version then there will be 2 fuses - then a gap (where the fuse would be for the electric) windows then 1 more - then the one next to this is the wash/wipe one.
If you have electic windows then there are 4 fuses from the top left then the next one is the wash wipe one.
It may not be the fuse as I have just checked my GFs car and it was not the fuse - looks like the wipe/wash motor may be gone.
