How do I Replace the Big end Bearing on a 1997 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec?

I'm thinking about buying a 1997 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec. which needs the Big end bearing replacing and I'd like to know how easy it would be to do this? I have worked on cars before. What type is the bearing?
Many thanks

this is a big job would require removal of sump opening of conrods(4)vernier gauge and measuring of big end itself almost certainly will require a new crankshaft as whilst the bearing will wear so too will the crank ,they are not a bearing in the true sense of the word theyre actually made of a white metal that is precisely measured and usually only go from lack of oil so most probably other engine problems really a big job they would come with standard size shells(as theyre called in trade)you need to figure what size you now need to account for wear on crank shaft aswell maintenanceserve@hotmail.com regards
