How can I make printer LEXMARK Z738 WORK WITH hp laptop with vista windows?

I have connected the printer to hp laptop with vista windows,when I install the software for the printer from the cd It is giving me an error that Run-time error '9': and subscript out of range.What do I do inorder to make the printer work?
Printer model: Lexmark Z 738.
Laptop model : hp G7000.
