The ucbic is is a control unit which is the fuse box and houses most of the relays for the systems on your car ,like wipers lights indicators ,immobiliser ,interior lights and so on,to locate the ucbic its below the steering wheel on the right side if you pull the fuse cover , you wiil see lots of fuses that is the ucbic unit, but make sure this unit is at fault because its very expensive i think around £300 but best check at arenault dealer, if the unit is faulty and you get one from ascrap car you will have to send it away to have the immobiliser removed ,or it will not start, also when anew unit has been fitted it will need to be configured and the keys programmed to the new unit , iwould shop a round ,and make sure that the unit is faulty first, hope this helps.
