my 406 2.l hdi stopped will start with easey start but pump wont cut in plug in comp. code.1146 can not find code in book.

my 406 will not start it was working before my husband took out one of the injectors as this was leaking cleaned it up and replaced the copper washer and now she will not start anyone got any idear how to fix please manythanks mary
