hi,
i was topping up my washer fluid recently with everything in fully working order and after topping up the fluid, attempted to use the front jets, electric wipers come on and nothing happens i can hear the jets trying to work and then the fluid comes out the rear onto my back window, then i tried the rear jets and they work perfectly, so basically my front jets are not working and when i attempt this the fluid comes out the back instead???? does anyone have any idea on what this could be? i would be very greatful, thanks

I'm having the same problem. How did Melanie Fry find out that it was the washer pump that was broken?

I have just had this problem myself 2 weeks ago whereby the washer bottle is full but when I try to use it the water only dribbled out of the water jets, even though I could hear the pump - I checked that the water jets were not blocked & it was later found that the pump which pumps the water from the water bottle to the washer jets was broken.
