vauxhall monterey 3.2 diesel, does it need 1 or 2 batteries ??

i would like to know how many batteries my car takes as some peoples seem to say one and others say 2 please can you help ?

I can't see any reason for this car needing two batteries - one heavy duty 12v should be quite enough. Perhaps there is a mounting for another battery if you tow a caravan or something.
