oil?

i have a bit of white yellow creamy stuff onthe rim of my oil cap.is this a problem or is condensation.help please.i have a vtr

Usually the sign of a petrol engine not having long enough runs to boil off the moisture that forms as a by product of combustion...we call it mayonnaise. Nothing to worry about unless you are losing coolant, in which case it could be a sign of head gasket failure, but I doubt it!
