OK it's not the ink pads being full but does sound like the ink is out.
The printer nossels can dryout if they have no ink in them so when the ink is very low the printer stops printing to protect itself.
Do you have 'status monitor' installed - this should tell you the ink levels - it will also show you any error messages.
When you know which ink is low change it then recycle the power to the printer.

Are they flashing or on solid

if flashing it's because the ink pads are full - use this utility - but read the instructions first
