The dashboard airbag light flases as I'm driving, the indicator blinks more quickly than usual and the clock lights up. It lasts for c 10mins then corrects itself. I had the same issue 2 weeks ago which ultimately drained the battery. After charging the battery all seemed ok but now I have the problem back.

count how may times it flashes,if 5 pause then 5 ,it will be the seat belt pre tensioners (usually the connectors at side of seats),make and brake them a few times (ignition off)see it that fixes it.
as for it draining battery thats a coincidence i think.
