my GHDs have broked after less then 18 months, but have no proof of purchase... i dont know how to release the lid... unscrewing the screw only makes the european plug come out.. please helpp!!!!

The quickest & easiest way is to cut off the Euro plug and fit a normal U.K. 3pin plug. Please email me at info@ceramichairirons.co.uk if this does not work.

If the led light is on the wire inside to the heat plates is broken.
If the led light is off you can replace the whole lead from inside the handle and put a 13amp plug on the end. There should be a plastic gromet on the handle on the inside remove this and undo the screw, and the handle should clip off, or there could be another screw depends on the model. When you change the cable get about 2meters. Most cables break because like all girls they can't stop twisting them around and pretending there a mic.
