idiot needs help with ecotec pro28 combination boiler?

I need to bleed my radiators and then refil the system, but the manual has no instructions as to how to top up the water pressure. I know that this needs to be done straight away after bleeding, and that there are two service valves on the filling pipe - top an bottom. Which do I open and how etc....

sounds really dumb - I know, but everything is easy whan you know how! thanks in advance - Sarah

keep your pressure topped around 1.5. if you have 2 valves on your filling loop, open 1 fully then slowly turn the other one until you hear the water going in and observe the guage as you do this.

then shut that one off and then close the other one.

if there is a lot of air in your rads then you may need to repeat this process every couple of rads to ensure there is enough pressure in the system to vent the air.
