the key to operate central locking for my ford escort has the bulb broken,?

the key which operates the central locking for my car has the small bulb in the key broken, can it be fixed or do i need to buy a new one and if so, apart from main dealer, where?

when you say its broken do you mean it dont light up,if so could just need a new battery.
if not try ebay they are always on there for sale.
