how do i remove the brake drums on a peugeot 306 1998?

how do i remove the brake drums on a peugeot 306 1.9D 1998 S reg. when i remove the rear wheel i can see no cross head screw holding the drum on like on other cars, what is it thats holding the drums on?

Hi Mark,in the center of the drum is a baring dust cover,prise that off like a paint tin lid,under that you will find a large nut which is in effect holding the drum on.Be aware the nut should be replaced or at least locktighted after removal and re torqueing.Before refitting the dust cover punch the nut lip into the axle groove.
