Mascot 42hp with a Briggs and Stratton 325 classic engine,starts but then cuts out,I suspect its a fuel supply problem.I have stripped and cleaned the carb and replced the plug.There is a strong spark but can't figure it out.can anyone help?

Usually this is caused by a faulty carb diaphragm (fits between carb and tank). 30 min replacement job.
