Ford Focus electric windows?

Hi, I have a Mk1 Focus Ghia, the other day the nearside rear window went down by itself ,without me touching any buttons.
When I tried to send it up with the N/s/r,button nothing happened it would not go up or down .I then tried it from the drivers position ,again nothing happened .Then suddenly it went up .I have checked the multi plugs and switches but there does not seem to be any problems there .All joints are clean and dry.
Cheers ,Ian

Oh my God- exactly the same problem- what is going on? They seem to be oddly unconnected but obviously are if we're all having the same problem.

I have exactly the same problem, bonnet open warning light, electric windows and heater not working.

I have owned an O4 Ford Focus C Max TCDi since new.
A 'Bonnet Open' warning light came on. Checked Bonnet lock all secure. Then noticed the following faults
(1) Both front Elect windows would not work.
(2) Windscreen Washer not working.
(3) Interior Heater blower not working.
Have checked the fuses which all appear in order.

Could anyone give me any help with this problem.
