My indicator on the front left hand side of my ford ka 2 1998 model isnt working, its flickering double time on the side and rear but isnt showing at all in the front. I took it out to halfords but the guy said i needed to take it to a ford dealer, is this true or can i do it myself?

You should not need to take it to a ford dealer they will charge you a stupid amount of money to do it!!!... changing bulbs on a Ka are award because of the small space behind the headlights but it can be done with patience, but if you cant do it any garage should be willing to help for a small fee...

Hi Karen, open the bonnet and look to the left corner. The indicator bulbs are located into the side of the light - just below the line of the bonnet edge. A left twist will unlock it and it will withdraw out. The bulb is a baynet fit - puch gently in and twist left to release. Bulb is standard 12v/21watt single element. Re-fitting is a reverse of the above.
