Assuming the machine is in good working order and filled with new petrol and oil at 40:1 mix ratio. Put the kill switch in the up positionand the set the choke lever to the left position. Now pull the starter until it fires once, then set the choke to the mid position and pull until it fires and runs, let it run a short while to warm the engine and gently increase the throttle to rev it up , if you squeeze too hard on the throttle it will die. If it does start again still with the choke in the mid position. When it will rev with the throttle fully squeezed set the choke to the right.
