Hi, my engine starts fine, runs for approx 5 minutes then stops. If l then leave it for about 30 minutes it will start again but stop after another 5 minutes. I have replaced the spark plug but l am not sure what else to do. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

This morning my brain was fully engaged (something to do with being old and the later the day the harder to think).

I went out and looked at the gas cap and discovered the little air inlet hole was plugged. One little nail to clean the hole and I mowed lawn for over an hour without any stopping.

That cured my mower--hope it helps you

I have experience the same problem today--I changed the fuel filter and it ran for 35 minutes then stopped again. I am contacting a repair shop tomorrow and maybe they can enlighten bouth of us
