reversing lights wont work,bulbs ok ford ka2?

the reversing lights on my 1999,ford ka2 wont work even tho the bulb appears ok and all connections appear the same

this is an easy fix, find the reverse light switch on the gearbox ( usualy on the front of the gearbox on fords) disconect the wireing and using a split pin bridge the two terminals. switch the ignition on,if the lights work then replace the switch.
