Dishwasher doesn't circulate water?

Electrolux ESI6241 dishwasher does not circulate water to spray arms. Has 230v across two cable at motor, motor hums and gets hot, pump seems free and I can turn motor quite easily with screwdriver on end of shaft, but it doesn't run. Have changed starter/capacitor with no difference. Is it likely the motor has failed, or could there be something wrong somewhere else - maybe with the two other cables connected to the motor?
Thanks Michael

you would have to assume the motor is at fault as you say you have changed the capacitor across the motor already.
