Here is my solution for my Gravity feed Aqualisa electric shower.
Problem;- The Water board cut off water supply for several hours. Water supply was then restored. All taps working but there was only a dribble from the shower head.
Solution. Remove the shower spray head. Switch the shower ON. Push the shower hose, with the rubber washer, hard up ( very hard so there is no leak ! ) against the cold tap in the bath ( or basin ). Turn the cold water tap full on for 15 seconds.
Turn off, and reconnect the shower head. Then the shower should work again. In my case it did - brilliant result ! Good luck !

I have two shower heads, one fixed and large the other movable and normal size. Got an air lock recently and no water out of shower. I removed head from normal-sized shower and sucked on the piping. Water came through quickly. Problem is I have to do this every other day. Any ideas? Thanks

make sure the cold water storage tank is full, take the shower rose off the flexible hose to give maximum unrestricted flow , put open end of flexible hose as low as possible in shower and turn on mixer. Alternate from cold to hot and back-holding a minute in each position and depending on circumstances, air may be dislodged. Its an easy first option to try.

The advice about covering your hand over the mixer tape is the best bit of advice I have EVER got off the internet. I've been despairing of my shower for months since the ball valve in the cold water tank was replaced. At last ..........I can finally enjoy my bathroom and my shower. Thanks Mate!!! You've outdone yourself.

if you have a mixer tap in the kitchen, put your hand hard against the outlet pipe? the pipe the water comes out of, and simply turn the hot and cold on together, the force of cold water should clear the air lock, if you have not got a mixer tap put a piece of rubber pipe from one tap to the other and open both taps,

hi spec cowboy? but it works, May 2008
use the mains cold water to push the airlock out
