Where on earth is the 1998 Almera alarm hidden?

My nissan almera 1998 model alarm went off involuntarily today. Couldn't stop it. Chap in garage finally got instructions to reset a bit like a James Bond spoof. No idea where alarm is? Apparently my model cannot be disabled separately as it is joined to horn, which would be MOT failure. Ideas please?
