Hi I might be able to help you , the brushes are on the back of the motor, you will have to remove the back plate of the machine ( six screews ) or you can lay the washing machine on it,s right side carefully with help ( its the easy way but make sure the machine is empty of water).from the underside you will see the motor, you should see the brushes on the rear of the motor ,there are the 2 small black plastic units and are held onto the rear of the motor by 2 small self tap screews . first remove the single cable from each brush . then undo the 2 small screews that hold each brush unit in place, you should now be able to pull the brush unit off of the rear of the motor, sometimes they get a little tight ,but should come of ok .
you should notice that the brushe's are short, normally they are about 1" long when new, hopefully this is your problem, and to replace them is quite easy, I have changed ours now 3 times ( my machine is the omega 1200 1290W but the brushes should be the same )
