Engine stalls and back fires. Difficult to start and keep running?
My John Deere LX255 riding lawn mower is difficult to start and keep going. It back fires and stalls. I've change the air and fuel filter along with spark plug but am still experiencing problems. Any ideas what needs to be done?
I think a full carburettor strip down and clean is the way to go on this one...take a tip? Don't use any cloth or rags, buy an aerosol of proper carb cleaner, and use compressed air to blow things through if possible.
