Veritas -After a power failure?

Veritas alarm about 9 years old Following a full power failure the alarm box buzzed while power was off then continued to buzz when power returned. No amount of resetting had any effect. I then turned the power off manually at the mains and the buzzing ceased.

The control box now has the UNSET (green) light flashing and several red zone lights are permanently lit. One red zone light is flashing How do I reset the whole system.

Inputting the security code and RESET has no effect.

if the engineer code has been lost, power down the system, mains and battery. Restore power. All the indicator lights will illuminate for four seconds. PRESS RESET before the indicator lights turn off. The factory settings should now be re-loaded.
User code 4 3 2 1, engineer code 1 2 3 4
hope this helps you
