speedo and fuel gauge stopped working at the same time?

they were working fine until i went into get diesel, came out started up and both had stopped working?it is a mondeo aspen.

Hi Elizabeth, have you checked the fuse box inside the car fuse number 30 7.5amps that controls the instrument cluster
