How can i fix my 1999 1.3 ford ka power steering problem???

hi everyone,
I have recently past my driving test and bought this beautiful red ka. I drove the car with no problem for a few weeks and only yesterday when i got in the car, the steering has got really stiff.
I have checked the power steering fluid and was advised to change the power steering pump which i did and still made no difference.
The fluid in the fluid bottle is bubbling as air or something is causing it to. CAN ANYBODY PLEASE PLEASE ADVISE ME WHAT I CAN DO AS I HAVE NO CAR TO TRAVEL TO UNIVERSITY AND BACK.
THANKS EVERYONE

THE FORD KA SUFFERD 2 FAULTS WITH STEERING.
1 THE STEERING COLUM JOINT (INSIDE THE CAR AT THE BOTTOM OF STEERING COLUM) ABOUT £150.00 POUNDS + VAT FROM FORD ONLY AND ABOUT AN HOUR TO FIT.

2 STEERING RACK FAILURE COST ABOUT £140.00 + VAT AND ABOUT 2HRS TO FIT.

GET THE STEERING COLUM JOINT CHECKED FIRST AS THIS IS AN EASY FAULT TO DIAGNOSE
