New clutch not going into gear when engine is not on?
Have just replaced the clutch on my 2000 Freelander and it goes into gear when the engine is off but wilkl not go in when the engine has started. What is causing this?
Hi Hadzel, sound like the clutch is not dis-engaging, possibly the thrust release bearing has become dislodged from its forks and isn't pressing on the clutch cover springs, sounds like another gearbox out job!!
