Check belt routing to make sure correct and no guides missed. Make sure engine drive pulley does not have broken welds. Visually inspect belt to make sure it's not frayed, split or juss plain tired wore out! Lastly, Locate adjustment nut and spindle on engage mechanism under the housing....Turn the nut down on the spindle. ALWAYS pull spark plug before working on cutting area! NOT just the wire! Access is the hardest part of checking cutting blade mechanics.
