I have a 1.8 zetec with a rough idle. Rougher when cold Had it checked and was told it was the head gasket.Doesn't overheat. Will bubble up if I run it for 30 minutes with the cap off. Put some really good head gasket repairer in it and it still idles rough. Have changed leads plugs oil and so on. Does anyone have any suggestions? Just drove it 200 miles with no overheating.
Assuming that the person who diagnosed the head gasket , tested the cylinder compressions to prove it, e then it will have to be changed. Head gasket repairer doesnt work
