How to replace oil pump?

My oil warning light comes on when it is idling. As soon as I start to accelerate from a standing position it goes out. I have no noises coming from the engine and it only happens when the engine gets hot. The car is a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 8V P reg

what you can do is remove your thermostat put a low temp like 160 degrees in place. This keeps your oil thicker and creates pressure. Also another fix a ;i;;ttlebit expensive is put to put higher weight oil in you vehiclle. 15w 50 In the long run you will need to get your engine rebuilt or replaced no mater what because the engine will go when the pump goes
