My vauxhall car radio has the word 'SAFE' written across it and I am told that I have to leave it on for many hours before I can put in the radio code in. Is this true and if so is there a way around it?

Leave switched on for 30 mins undisturbed and the dashes will flash again allowing you to enter the right code. If this doesnt happen the unit will need unlocking by dealer
