A most unusual request....! It depends largely on how big the hole is, but you can buy epoxy putty from motor factors (sometimes called 'plastic metal') which has extraordinary holding strength, providing that the surfaces that its stuck to is completely clean and oil free. I've even repaired frost damaged engine blocks with this.
