leaking water?

my scandinova larder fridge (model LF6-137W) seems to have lost the capacity to evaporate defrost water. The defrost water now runs down the inside of the fridge and has to be mopped up every day from where it collects on the floor of the fridge. The appliance is 6 years old, and up to now has worked perfectly. None of the settings have been changed recently. The appliance was purchased from Comet, Swindon.

I have the same problem and assume it is the drainage hole that's blocked. What is the best way to unblock it, do you think? Many thanks

Check to see that the drainage hole(s) are clear at the bottom of the fridge inside - usually just above the salad drawer. These allow distillate to pass to the back of the appliance where the heat from the coils causes evaporation. If they block, the symptoms are like yours. I assume the fridge is still getting cold as usual!
