If it is the same as my 97' model then: Remove (prise off) speaker covers to left and right. Remove three screws (I think they are torx heads-star shaped) holding the speakers in and remove. Remove top of dashboard-it's held on by those plastic clips (same as the speaker covers). You should now see the pod containing all the circuitry etc and the light bulbs. You need to unscrew the pod as a whole. Two of the screws are underneath the square foam pads so you have to pull these off (they do stick back on). You should be able to see the other screws holding it on. Lift the pod upand turn it over. All the bubs can be easily seen and removed. There are two types of bulbs and cost me £7.50 each from a dealer!

You need to remove the speaker covers that are on top of the dash then you will see 3 screws on each speaker , remove the 3 screws and the speakers, then you need to gently pull the top of the dash up wards unclippng it from the instrument panel surround then you need to remove all the T20 screws you can see which hold the panel, also you will see two black pieices of sponge top of the panel you need to remove them also and you will see two more screws once they have been removed the panel should be free so you can replace the bulbs .
