I can get the cap off, but don't know how to get the spool off to refill it/

there are two metal tabs under the small hub cap. Use a screwdriver and pinch one side together while pulling on the sting holder. It just comes off. - Mind you I just figured it out after trying several times today and last weekend...and the weekend before that.
